What We Mean by Safeguarding
At Zenten Aikido, safeguarding means ensuring that everyone who comes to our classes — whatever their age or experience — can take part in a safe, respectful, and supportive environment.
We recognize everyone’s right to train, learn, and grow without fear of harm, abuse, or discrimination.
Our Commitment
- All of our instructors are certified through multiple respected training schools and hold up-to-date qualifications in their relevant disciplines.
- They follow professional and ethical standards to deliver lessons safely and inclusively.
- We maintain clear protocols and oversight to make sure the teaching environment is comfortable, secure, and consistent for all participants.
- Should any concern or incident arise, we are ready to take appropriate action and support anyone affected.
Instructor Qualification Overview
- Each instructor has obtained certification from recognized bodies or schools in their field (for example: insert examples if desired).
- Continuous professional development through regular refresher training and updates in teaching methods and safety practices.
- Adherence to Zenten Aikido’s code of conduct — respect, fairness, positive communication, and protection of all participants.
